Lynnette Cole, Miss USA 2000, competes Sunday, May 7, 2000 in her choice of evening gown for the coveted 2000 Miss UNIVERSE crown. Each Delegate is judged by a preliminary panel of distinguished judges in three categories. These categories consist of individual interviews, the Oscar de la Renta swimsuit competition, and the evening gown competition. The scores are tallied and the Top 10 Delegates will be announced during the live two hour 49th Annual Miss UNIVERSE Pageant on Friday, May 12, 2000, from Cyprus on the CBS-Television Network starting at 9:00 P. M. (ET)
