Shanghai Lupu Bridge: Chinese basketball star Yao Ming, of Houston Rockets, center, runs with about 1,000 runners through the brand-new Lupu Bridge, the world's longest steel arch, being built over the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, Saturday, June 28, 2003 as part of opening ceremony of the bridge. The main section of the 3,900-meter-long (13,000-foot-long) record-breaking arch bridge is 750 meters (2500 feet) in length and 28.7 meters (95.7 feet) in width with six lanes. The bridge is opened to traffic on Saturday.
